Atlanta has several nicknames such as a city within a park, this describes the layout of the city with its many trees everywhere. 

Atlanta can be described a a large city with a small town feel. The city itself is about half the size of what you see on maps. This is because Atlanta has a interstate loop called I-285. However we will consider Atlanta to be all the area within the I-285 loop and some of the areas just outside the loop.
